Richard's love of raw blues powers his songwriting contributions to Strange Flight, “Fire And Gasoline” and “I Guess.”

“My songs tend to be written around a strong rhythm and a guitar hook,” he says. “I often write with a lyricist I’ve known since my high school days and then take his lyrics and re-work them against the rhythm and the hook. Rather than telling a story, my songs rely much more on imagery and symbolism to create their impact.”
